After some time of not talking no lie I do hit them back up just to see how they are. I don't understand the whole "stay out of my life forever" thing. It's not even on some "I miss you" shyt. It's usually cordial. I'm friends with all my exes still.
I semi-agree.
Most chicks I completely cut off, but a few I like to check on. Mostly the ones where there may be unfinished business and I want to keep that window cracked a little bit.
I've cut off contact with just about everyone and I do it without changing my number. Just ignore them, look at the text/call, shrug it off, delete, and continue on with life.
I still get the occasional "happy __________" text or text from a nikka playing their feelings out in hopes of some p*ssy but fukk em. I don't entertain it. Best thing you can do is act like it never exists and don't respond because you'll only open a can of worms.

Two of my ex still text me on weekly basis to see how I'm doing. Doesn't bother me. Some women wish to see if you're miserable without them.

I gotta chick who I was messing with 5 years ago. And she would still text me from time to time up until last year after I changed my number. You would think after you curse someone out and call them every name in the book that they would get the picture. But some chicks seem to like being disrespected.
