In psychology they call this projection....
Overwhelmingly....No....A lot of times, Black male self hatred manifests differently than Black female self hatred. So, you have Black men who have no problems with the texture our hair but, will find issue in that same texture in Black women...You have Black men who wouldn't feel the need to change their dark complexions but, would have obvious color issues with women whom share that very same complexion...But, Black men for the most part, adore our hair, especially this generation...In fact, I use to hate being forced to cut of my hair as a teenager.
Nobody rocks s curls anymore.
But damn 360 waves are self-hate? Blacks are the only people whose hair can do that, so who are we trying to emulate that makes it "self-hate"?
Lol we always joke about one of our nikkas s-curling/perming his shyt to get his waves so strong. Lmao his cousin(my former best friend) started that shyt lolololol.lsa is dumb for this one...texturizing your hair is completely different from perminv like they did in the 50's.
fyi: nikkaz s-curl there waves to get super sayjin 2 type waves, but you ain't herd it from me..![]()
I feel you bruh, my hairline is on life support now and crazy thin :mjhairline:. The minoxidil is the only thing enabling it to hold on. Might have to give up the fight in the next year or two. shyt is sad coz I love my hair and wouldnt look good bald with my head shape. The only thing that I ever worry about my hair is a small thinning part in my hairline
My hairline used to be super skrong, but now it's showing signs of weakness at only 25.
I would kill to have the ability to grow out my hair to such lengths. Its been a struggle getting my hair to grow these past 8 months. This makes no sense on any level considering we're in the era where this

Tell me about. I been growing mine for damn near 9 months now and its still only 2.5 inches long even though I eat healthy, drink water and use all these oils and sulphate free shampoosshyt always pissed me off I could never grow an afro.
I would go half a year with no haircut and my shyt would never get higher than 3-3.5, but my little brother goes half a year and his shyt as tall as bishop and Q from juice. 5 years later he got dreads down his back.
Same shyt with my beard, it's full but I swear it stops growing at a certain length.

Uhh NO! In fact the women who always say shyt about black men's hair are the bald headed ones who destroyed their edges with them chemicals. Through out my teen years and early 20s I got a haircut only 4 times a year, one for each season. Havent even got a haircut this year since March.

Its like mine grows one inch every 4 months while I see nikkas everyday who had a haircut after me with longer hair. shyt aint fair :mjhairline:
