You dont see it in other areas as much because our community got weakened after desegregation when they sold a lot of black businesses to try (and fail) to get along with racist whites.

Which lead to white media and white businesses taking over and a lot of our people showing lack of interest in supporting our own which lead to the self hate problems we have today.
