3 led generation from where? But what do the descendants of Britain Slavery have as far as cuisine? Are you saying they don't have own version of American Soul Food? Or they kept their cuisine from their countries even with slavery?
Majority of black brits are immigrants.
Yes to all of the above. As a 3rd gen I would like 2 chime in
Black british food is everybody else's food with scotch bonnet pepper and plantain on the side.

I thought y'all had y'all own version of Soul food but I understand it as y'all kept it from the areas of the people enslaved came from? From my grandmother womb...
We have an amalgamation of cuisine that stems to what is readily available to us in our environment and what we inherited from our family's traditionally.
Eg
Full English breakfast minus black pudding + scotch bonnet pepper and plantain
Black brits are 1st and 2nd generation africans and caribbeans...
Nah he means people who’s ancestors were brought to the UK as slaves directly and didn’t come during the windrush generation and hence have no association with the Caribbean.Thats what black brits are you fukkn dumbass...
Seems like that's the case. I was thinking they had their own version of Soul food or Creole or Geechie like cuisineMost "black foods" in England are just going to be traditional Caribbean or African dishes I would assume.
Yes to all of the above.
There weren’t very many black ppl on British soil that were held as chattel slaves as far as I know. They were all held off shore in the Islands and other places and the money was sent back to the UK. Unlike America that had slavery on its own land.
So there are no black brits that are descendants of slaves that have been in England since times of slavery.
Many of the black ppl were free blacks, Merchants, Moors, tradesmen and otherwise educated and their genes got washed out and recycled eons ago.
That’s why the British can mentally remove themselves from slavery the way they do but still retain an imperialistic mindset.
So any black Brit’s here now with black skin are descendants of the windrush or of recent immigration.
Based on @Kasgoinjail I don't think they have a Brit version of American Soul food. They just assimilated and added some area of enslavement items to British dishes.Nah he means people who were brought to the uk as slaves and didn’t come during the windrush generation and hence have no association with the Caribbean.

I wanna hear DAT accentFacts, in history slave owners that had to transition in England would lose their slaves because they would take their 'owners' to court and sue them (Habeas Corpus)
As a result if we want to eat our traditional food we have to adapt the ingredients that can't be imported.
I saw it took a man in East London 15 YEARS for his green banana tree to grow and bear fruit
I have met oneNah he means people who were brought to the uk as slaves and didn’t come during the windrush generation and hence have no association with the Caribbean.
