no, its like a lot of people in bodega's I hear say they're Spanish don't know where spain is
do any of you 'spanish' people in usa even know or been to spain?

First off im American before anything else, i was born here and rep the states before i rep anything else

second, i speak spanish and im mexican, im not repping anything from spain. people from actual Spain who are Spaniard, are fukkin Euro-white. Thats like me asking is has every black person been to Africa. Not every spanish is from spanish most what you find in the states is from southern america, puerto rico, dominican etc.. like not every black person is from africa

People of Mexican decent claiming to be of pure Spanish seems to be commonplace in the Southwest.
I guess it makes them feel exotic or better than the immigrants around them.
If you call yourself "Spanish", you better be from Spain. You should also have a lisp in your accent, and be an all around fakkit.
The people KAW is referring to are probably uneducated hispanics, who probably can't speak Spanish anyway.

I live in the southwest and people get it backwards all the damn time. for the most part they dont care until someone calls them out on it. i know ALOT of mexican people who dont want to be "tainted" as a mexican claim there spanish and from Spain, ALL THE TIME

It always cracks me up when I see Dominicans, Mexicans etc. saying they are Spanish. No fool you aren't Spanish, you just speak the language. That's like an American or Jamaican saying he is English, because he speaks the English language.
