I started doing some fan fiction last year. The first was my own comic book universe that consisted of mostly black superheroes. Some were characters I created as a kid in the 90's. The other one was a scenario were America is divided again into two countries because of a second civil war that happened in the 1930s.

One of my new year's resolutions is to finish them up and possibly get published.

i tried once but it's more effort than it's worth. i'd rather just create my own universe with my own rules. actually, the one time i attempted to write a fan-fiction, it inspired me to make a whole original story. still sort of fleshing it out but the general idea is there and i've written a few guidelines about the new world my characters live in.
