Do any Nas and Jay Z fans agree with me on this?

100% agree on KC>BP3

I never got the KC hate. Is it a top 5 hov album? No. But it has some joints on there. Beach chair is one of my favorite Hov songs ever!

Beach chair grew on me. Its a really good song.

I think the KC hate was because it was his comeback album and it came after TBA. I dont think KC is incredible, but it's not trash.

I do believe KC is better than BP3 but both of those albums are kind of trash to me especially BP3.

For Nas it’s Stillmatic > God’s Son > HHID and while HHID has a few great songs the album as a whole is near the bottom of Nas’s discography

Stillmatic my favorite Nas album. I don't think HHID is close to it.

I like BP3 a lot more than KC.

The highs on Stillmatic are more “Epic” but God’s Son is the more mature and superior body of work.

But Stillmatic is a classic of its time. Some of Nas’s all time best performances are on that album while some of his best overall WRITING is on Gods Son

Tracks like Rule, Poison, and My Country are real political and mature. I think God Son is more personal.

It is indeed but the writing is so deep and heartfelt. I hate to draw comparisons to Pac but Nas got really into a Pac like state on Gods Son and to a lesser extent on Streets Disciple with how intricately he was able to convey emotion. I literally CANNOT listen to Dance, because its so heartfelt and raw that it makes me think about my own father’s death and i literally feel like i’m right back at that funeral looking at him for the final time.

Songs like Heaven, where he just lets out his feelings at the end talking about every man makes his own heaven, or the final verse of Book Of Rhymes where he’s talking about his mixed emotions towards his baby daughter, or even a song people don’t like such as Zone Out where he LITERALLY Zones Out on his verse.

The writing on Gods Son is fukking incredible
