I think 50 cent ruined it. He's never been a stylish person. Add that with his popularity and constantly wearing fitteds and it was sure to end. Notice everything 50 wears or used to wear is out of style now. Baggy/loose jeans, tall T's, durags, fitted hats, big chains, earrings. Its like 50 the perfect example of what not to wear.
Breh still dresses like that in some sort today
Breh is over 40 still dressing like it's 06-2010. I look at everything breh wears and make sure to do the opposite.
Yup. 10-14 like every pair of shoes I bought I got a matching fitted. That's like 30 plus. I'm rocking one if I'm wearing those shoes.

I think it was the branding. If people had just worn plain fitteds like this it would've lasted longer. Having your team or some cartoon makes it too easily dated.

His fit is the norm for a lot of older nggas where he's from and across the coast.
What always alarms me is how it's okay for older cacs to dress in the same manner...wearing shyt younger cats would have on and be applauded as "stylish"....
yet when a black man does it....he's viewed as appearing "immature" or "needing to grow up"....

Who determines when it comes back? What the retailers feel like selling at the store one days means something came back? One guy in each city everyone copies determines in style? A group of guys each city get together to discuss what's in style? Lol.
