Odds are that in his formative years his son was raised in an upper class neighborhood. X wasn't the most of the time so he grew up around cacs, I seen this on Run's House when Diggy was going to his friends Bat-Mitzvah's and shyt. If Run wasn't around his son would've grew up confused. You gotta be there most of the time to ensure your seeds don't get corrupted and confused. If they're scared to talk to you then you can't guide em right.

People don't understand that you have to be there for your kids a lot in their early years to guide them properly. Spending more time on you than your kids always have disastrous results

It was an interesting interview but it was clearly done for Ratings. This chick ain't trying to help X or his son. She and Oparh trying to line their pockets. Does X have a problem? sure but no TV show is going to solve it. Also it's funny how people wanna criticize X drug use when i'm sure everyone on this board does some drug or another. Some of us can control our drug use and some can't. Just cause you can control your addictions doesn't make you any better than the addict cause your still using drugs. Also if X wants to just do Alcohol and Weed over Coke/Crack that's a better step.

You can't just go cold turkey when you've been doing it as long as X has. You have to slowly find a way to get off it. Like he said in the interview, he's been mostly clean. Overall this was again nothing but for TV ratings. But it's annoying seeing all the psychologist on twitter and online trying to tell X what he needs to do. You are not Earl Simmons, you do not know what he's been through in his life. It's easy to watch a TV show and try to act like you have the answers to someone's life. Also I don't like his Son trying to corner him which was clearly done again for ratings. The whole thing was a sideshow, they weren't trying help X. The knew he was uncontrollable and that's exactly want they wanted to catch on camera.

Dude is 20. Going on TV with Inyanla was the last result. Dude is probably scared to talk to him like that without the cameras being involved. How do you react when you ask your parent to stop getting high so you can have a non-toxic relationship and their response is "I'll see you at my funeral".

for shyt like this i wish i wasn't so immature, smh, i can't view this kind of shyt like yall because i be laughin like crazy, this nikka son sweet as a pack of now and laters. but that aside, an addict isn't going to change until they are ready, you can't change an addict, they have to change themselves. dmx clearly isn't ready to change, it will take something really really tragic i think, sad. and why do people think he's fukked up or bad when the the dude is an addict???? makes no sense, he's clearly not in control. i think he's naturally a good dude with a good heart, but them drugs is a beast

I'm not defending DMX at all. He's a grown ass man and that dudes father yet he could barely keep his temper for more than a minute. I just think that taking his father on tv with someone whos gonna stir shyt up for ratings for her new tv show was far from the answer

Serious questions man: are u a hard drug user? do u have a history of hard drug addiction? Why are u defending X so much? X is a fuccin loser,a scumbag and a certified basehead. I know we loved his music, but that's where it stops. We don't have to defend destructive behavior, simply because u like his music.

How can u defend X when he has ruined his career, ruined his marriage, ruined his relationship with his kids, been in and out of jail, constantly relapsing smokin crack, actin erraticly and crazy in public and on camera time & time again.

How can u possibly say that a person should slowly stop usin crack and coke only to start usin weed and alcohol? :mindblown: that's just trading addictions. An addiction is an addiction. And X has never been totally clean. Do u really believe that he's been "mostly clean" :usure: That nygga is a crackhead. There is no such thing as a part time crackhead.
Stop defendin bullshyt fam :mindblown:

It probably was his mom that asked him to come on. X went on the show thinking it was gonna make him look good by talking about his p*ssy addiction. When the script was flipped to the rocked up coke addiction is when he went ballistic.

I started to have a "change in heart" when i seen DMX was unapogetic about even trying to change his condition for the sake of his son...and i saw the TEARS rolling from his eyes.

but then ............ THIS BYATCH iYANA VANZANT DIDN'T HELP THINGS when DMX just wanted his son to GIVE HIM A HUG......

and this BROAD gonna tell his son.."U AIN'T GOTTA HUG HIM , IF YOU DON'T WANT TO" :shaq2:

and that's when it became DARK AND HOT AS HELL for her a$$........ :russ:

cause real talk DMX calling her a BYATCH should have been the least of her worries...

i've been in a custody case and dealt with mediators, and the hoes MAKE U REALLY WANNA CHOKE THE LIVING SHYT OUT OF THEM.........

i saw his foot tapping relentlessly like "GOTTDAMN HOW CAN I HIT THIS HOE ON TV WITHOUT SUFFERING FURTHER REPRUCUSSIONS".... :youngsabo:

and honestly i think DR. VANZANT was MORE UPSET AND CONCERNED ABOUT DMX CALLING HER A BYATCH than actually REPARING THE DYSFUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIP between X and his son...

i bet you Iyana Vanzant is sitting back with a blunt out on her porch talking shyt with her girlfriends talking about........

"sheeeeeeeeit i gives a flying fukk about a gottdamn EARL SIMMONS or his little unplugged guitar playing lame a$$ son .... (puff puff)....gurrl i got a phat check for that episode, and the royalties alone from this season (puff puff, pass) gonna have me on that gottdamn FORBES list by next year....yeah i might be a B1TCH..but i'll be a RICH B1TCH :russ:....yeah BARK on that MUTHAPHUKA!!!.......i'm riding with OPRAH!!"

Low-key what's also sad is that a bunch of cacs and internet thugs will come in here looking down on young'n because he chooses to act with respect, humility and intelligence. Because he asks a woman for help.

Calling this young boar soft and square because he took a different route than wildin' and being a "real n!gga" in his life. They look up to X for being an animal, an absentee father, addict and criminal.

agree, i had a conversation with my dad just like the one between X and his son and all i got from my dad was shoulder shrugs, cold ignorant stares, and "imma do what i wanna do", i poured my heart out to that dude and he argued back like a damn child

our relationship was never the same after that convo/argument

if i could turn back the hands of time to that day me and my dad had that argument i think i would have done what dmx's son had did and brought in a mediator, cause shyt is just not the same between me and him
