This was the the end of X, even though there's a lot of good memories attached to this song and album, from late summer to fall of 2001, although it was obviously overshadowed by Jay and Nas. And Jadakiss. I was in 9th grade at the time, and can remember my homie and I leaving after school playing this, running missions to get alcohol or weed or pick up girls, whatever.

But, artistically, X was stalled out, and this was kind of warning flash, that his brand was dimming. This was where he dissed the Lox right? or was that the next album from 2003? X was still around, but his music had lost the visceral impact it had in 98-2000.

You might be thinking of Grand Champ, that had Where The Hood At and Get it On the Floor.

Trina Moe is from this one, that's where he went at the Lox a little, for some internal reason

That other 2003 album was even worse, and felt instantly disposable, though Get It On the Floor lingered on the radio for a while.
