The advantage of this though for the nationals is that they have breathing room with not having to have the pitcher hit in a DH League. That's my theory on why they lost the home games, every time it looked like they were doing something, it was the pitcher's spot to hit so it kind of killed momentum. Here, they're free to keep going as they go.
