When people say this they mean that Boldy doesn't approach the beat in an expected/conventional way. Instead he favors patterns and cadences that you'd expect to be awkward, but when he does it they're actually effortless and smooth

dap + rap (when i can). that breakdown makes a lot of sense. i've grown to fukk with Boldy's music these past couple of years. i was hoping he wasn't talking about Jay Worthy :scusthov:
