but this sounds like a commercial is taking place in the middle of a song I'm listening to and it's distasteful to my ears

It's not even close to the same thing in the sense that one comes off like a commercial placed in a song and the other one is a jingle . . ya it has the stench of product placement in it but it happens to be in a musical format. So it's listenable
