i agree i like it when artists who never rapped about mature subjects start to transition into it. as long as it doesn't come off as corny i'm all for it.

This is a interesting point... Though to be fair, Jay always kinda talked about himself as bigger then life, he never really spoke about life in the present. He would refer to his life more so... I like your point though, it would be interesting to hear him flow without ego:ehh:

I wasn't with that impressed with the Jay verse on the Pusha song. It was cool but I've heard Jay come wayyy wittier. Think it's like when a man is dying of thirst...he would appreciate a drop of piss to quench it. Its still liquid...but its not pure or clean...you feel me. Still waiting to hear a better Jay....
