I know you can't always go by what you see on social media. But it looks like Envy uses money as a way to either get his wife to forgive and forget or it could be to make up for lack of personality. First of all ,there's nothing wrong with being romantic or doing things for your partner. But this dude Envy man takes things to the extreme. HIs wife Gia was posting about 30 shoes in 30 days. Before that for Christmas it was 30 gifts for 30 days. I honestly felt like he was using gifts to make up for what he had done.
