Even so, MCs of his age group can step up and make an album better than his. We went through 12 years of 808s and hi hat beats that dumbed down the culture to new lows. Kendrick inspired change in many people to step up and (eventually) make better music.

I'm happy with his album that has a black power theme that been missing since the mid 90s. On top of being successful.
