Clark Kent is a clown.

Takes like this exemplify my disdain for New York DJs, tastemakers and gatekeepers most who think everything in hip hop revolves around New York City and try to throw shade at contributions that come from other regions.

Foot on neck :russ:

It's one thing to have an opinion and preferences based on what you like but it's another thing to make bold proclamations and statements dismissing things that have made a worldwide impact based on your own personal taste. Part of being a DJ is having the ability to recognize records that impact people even if you don't personally like them. There's lots of classic songs and albums that aren't for ME but that doesn't make them not classic.

Typical old NY weirdo fakkit, with some hate in his heart for the West Coast. Wasn’t this idiot at the party where his man Biggie got popped? He probably harbors a lot of resentment at the West Coast and it’s artists.
Him not liking RBX verses really isn’t about the west coast.

I always said Doggystyle was better than The Chronic and is a Top 5 rap album ever musically...dope to see others feel the same.

I like Doggystyle better than The Chronic but I think The Chronic’s production is a little better.

The main thing for my preference, who would you rather listen to for so many verses, Dre or Snoop? I know there’s a lot of guest appearances, but there’s still solo tracks.

I’d prefer to listen to 93 Snoop over almost anyone who ever rapped.

Also to add, 92-93 Kurupt was in a zone just like Snoop was.

Dre’s rapping was no slouch on The Chronic… as far as voice and delivery he was up there with Snoop and Kurupt
