RBX is one of the highlights to me. He sets it off every time.

Anyway I disagree with Clark's whole point, most classic albums are not perfect albums where you like every track equally. Nobody else uses this qualifier.

yeah, it's kinda nonsensical. the number of front-to-back perfect albums, in every music genre combined, is pretty small. a classic doesn't need to be perfect in order to be a classic, because perfect sits above classic.

clark's logic... i get it. and he's a legend. but every legend doesn't need their opinions heard lol.

He is free to have his opinion, but I tell you what? There are far more people who consider The Chronic to be a classic than Reasonable Doubt. I like that album, but New York does not represent the rest of the US lol. The Chronic gets the same type of classic distinction Illmatic gets.I’m not comparing the albums. I got Illmatic over the Chronic for sure. But I’m talking about how outsiders view the albums in regards to their cultural impact , how good it sounds, and importance to those cities and coast.. Jay Z wasn’t even big during those times for a reason. Music wasn’t as strong as the others, despite the sick riding. Unless you a NY nikka in which I respect that opinion .nikka I got ready to Die over Reasonable Doubt. I’m not a Jay Z hater either. But I can play Illmatic and Ready to Die over and over and not get tired of it. I need time after listening to Jay Z shyt before hearing it again. So if we wanna nitpick we can find something wrong with literally every single album. But Jay Z don’t got a album that touch the chronic.. sooooo lol…But if I was from NY I guess I would feel different maybe (I’m from Atlanta… Favorite rappers -PAC, Nas, BIG

Clark Kent always comes across super miserable and negative
It’s several rappers who I liked as a youngin who I feel this way about now. Numero uno is Skillz. That nikka swear it’s a badge of honor to have never listened to an OutKast album in its entirety. Starting to feel that way about Phonte.
