Clark was my favorite DJ growing up as a kid along with Kid Capri and Flex. I remember listening to Clark deejay on WBLS (as apart of the In Control Show with Marley Marl and a then young/unknown Pete Rock). That style of deejaying with cutting up the record, juggling fast, and taking the record off after the 2nd verse and transitioning on to the next one quick, Clark Kent lowkey pioneered that style on the radio back in 89/90. In the early 90’s, before Flex really got big, Clark Kent and Kid Capri were the kings of the NYC nightclub scene. Clark also had the DJ crew called the Supermen that DJ Scratch was apart of. I said this before too, if it wasn’t for Clark Kent, there would be NO Roc-A-Fella as he was the one who introduced Jay to Dame. shyt, Clark was the one who put Jay and Big together. He was the true definition of the term “Glue”. He was the nucleus behind a lot of historical shyt that gets glossed over. Hip Hop really lost a true Icon with Clark Kent.

RIP. I respect the family for giving his cause of death even though they're not obligated to. It might inspire somebody else to go get checked out. Colon cancer is treatable even curable if caught early enough.
Pops beat it last year, thankfully. But yeah get those checkups , no shame in trying to live. Rip to Clark. Definitely a legend

Rip to Clark Kent..

Your DJ skills were immaculate when Nino and his gang came in the club in New Jack City:mjcry::mjcry:.

Without him, you wouldn’t have Jigga.

You was a underrated producer
