No disrespect to Wayne, I think he definitely made a name for himself in the game. I actually like his shyt, but when I see people putting him on the GOAT lists, it really baffles me how one can make an argument like that.

50's hits >>>> Wayne's hits

To put Wayne's catologue into perspective, peep. This nikka got 184 billboard hits. Thats literally equivalent to like 15 whole albums of nothing but billboard hits. :russ: Jay Z has 105 btw. Eminem has 95 and less top 10 hits than Wayne. He only beats him in #1 hit because Eminem has 5 to his 3.

Lil Wayne is a fukking MONSTER.

It doesn't matter whether an artist has 1000 chart hits. What matters is the 20 that are played in a Verzuz. Ya'll be coming with factors that defeat the purpose of doing a Verzuz. If it was based on entire catalog, the format wouldn't exist.

Wayne is the Allen Iverson of Hiphop. Set so many trends. I would say Wayne and then Chief Keif pretty much berth the current style of rap. Wayne was the Matrix. You can pretty much divide Hiphop from Old School / New School by Wayne. His ascension during Mixtapes to Carter trilogy Changed hiphop forever.

Wayne biggest issue with this verzus wouldn't be the songs, but his looks and performance. His voice sounds different now too. He dresses like shyt now and his locs are on life support.

I think 50 outperforms him. I didn't think the Lox, could see Dipset. Hell I thought Cam couldn't body the Lox alone. But when u up there looking like a fiend and out of shape. It takes away from the music.

I've been a fan of lil Wayne probably longer than anyone on this site. I'm talking 1st Hotboy album. Cash Money came to my uncle's club in late 97 when Soulja Rags was hot. And the first Hotboy had just dropped. I was 15, Wayne was 14. Nobody know who he was in the club, just a few of us. I walked right up on him and thought how small he was.

Personally, i feel the song Lights Out from his debut is a top 10 song of his.

I think these would be big in hits Versus

I Miss My Dawgs
Birdman Jr
We Ready Freestyle
On My Own
Cash Money Millionaires
Money On My Mind - Was huge in DC - Wayne the reason so many people grew dreads in the mid 2000s. Especially in Dc.

I hate to see how my boy has fallen off, but he still can wash 50, but he has to be sharper than he's been in a while.

Point is his cream will rise to the top and he got hella more of an catalogue. He can go recent, to nostalgic and tough way more people with songs that resonate. 50 just ain't on his level.
