He definitley is one of those blacks who view other blacks through the lens of white people,his only worry is how it may or may not look to white people.
And don't compare AK to other people who post here,people from these kind of environments have much more leeway to speak our minds. AK is an outsider diagnosing shyt he has no clue about and can't relate to. When your young and stuck in a violent environment and are ready to kill another black person if you have to. To places like Chicago that has a gang culture where you have opposing gang members ready to kill you for no reason so you have to be ready to kill perfect strangers you don't know from shyt,because they might be ready to kill you. You have kids playing a game of chicken where the hesitant lose and most violent/savage win. This is shyt no teenager should have to deal with. You can hate what you are seeing,but where is the love and sympathy shown. All I've seen from AK is love for the music that talks about the violence he supposedly hates. As well as hateful rants like this one in the OP.
But folks can't see why Chicago artist ain't grateful for him "showing love" as he puts it.

The problem with Akademics is that he's critiquing the symptoms and not the problem. Now if he would harshly critique both the cause (decades of disenfranchisement) and the effect (complete breakdown of our cities), then I could accept his points and even be comfortable with defending them. It's true that the killing in the streets and the seemingly lack of value of human lives needs to stop. But the policies that continue breed and foster that environment need to stop as well.
There are times I want to rant against this level of violence and people clearly jumping on YouTube to snitch on themselves, but I have to check myself and focus my ire at the real problem.
