What does she think this is, Japan?

I wouldn't mind, but the very thought that WWE would do this, when they don't even do crossovers with their ACTUAL business partners (like, say, New Japan, which was owned by the company that developed the WWE games until recently), is absolutely ludicrous.

She should focus on getting over a 1.0 consistently, or getting more than 10,000 people to buy their PPVs or something. Not pipedreams.

She needs to just stop bullshytting and sell TNA to Vince. I truly believe that's her ultimate goal.

Dixie needs to worry about that 0.84 rating from last week's Impact.

I think that Spike is getting a little pissed off about those sagging ratings and if it continues, they may say "fukk it" and pull the plug altogether.

Right the ship first.

I knew Dixie wasn't serious at making TNA a viable alternative to WWE when I recently read that FX had offered them rights to create a show in '05 all they asked was for ownership stake in the company. The ditz refused, imagine how good TNA could've been under FX production and creativity :ohlawd: :ahh: :snoop:

WWE would have nothing to gain from a cross promo event with a farm league while this would be the biggest event in TNA history

And what would the match be? WWE vs ex-WWE wrestlers? :heh:

During a recent interview with DigitalSpy.com to promote Sunday's WWE Payback pay-per-view, WWE TV personality Paul Heyman commented on Dixie Carter recently stating that she'd like to do a TNA vs. WWE pay-per-view event.

"I'm sure that Dixie Carter would love to do a WWE versus TNA PPV. Why wouldn't she? A friend of mine who has way too much time on his hands just started a new beverage company here in the United States... He would like to do a global promotion with Coca-Cola. I don't suggest that Coca-Cola would be profitable having to do a global co-promotion with Shmuley's Soda Company. In the same way it would make no sense for WWE with 95% global share to do an event with TNA with its 5% global market share!"

Wrasslin mixed in with large corporation is an industry no-no.

It ruined:
Wcw : aol/tw merger is what killed wcw.
Just as much as, Bischoff

Wwf/ viacomm : tv deal pretty much helped ruin the impact and edge of the last boom period.

Dixie made the right choice not to sell.

True, but FX wasn't asking for complete ownership of TNA, just a stake in the company. FX is much bigger, better, and viable cable channel than Spike TV is. Put TNA along with all those great FX shows, along with the FOX production values, TNA would at least be getting 2.0 ratings.

people watch FX, the only thing on Spike is movies like The Terminator and TNA....if only they had the advertising during the shows on FX, TNA would prob get 2.0's by accident with the names they have, but nope, they are terrible at marketing....Just look at the last PPV that was here in Boston, they sent Bully Ray(yeah the heel champ, instead of his babyface opponent) to do a radio interview, and he stayed in character, and tried to "bully" the radio host(who said something about Jeff Hardy having more athletic ability than bully ray or something)...it was god damn shameful.
