actors are already set to go on strike
meanwhile the DGA is the only union out of the big 3 (Writers,Directors,Actors) unions that have actually been respected enough by the Producers Union to sit down and actually negotiate some shyt out
there's more work overlap between Producers and Directors unions so we all knew it was gonna play out like that, normally tho the other unions just let the DGA go first and then based their deals off of that one but this time around the producers been giving them the
wit the quickness
at the end of the day they're gonna work something out that going to be FAR better than what happens to the music industry tho
they don't stand a chance without a union to keep everyone on the same page
We're slowly entering the final stage of celebrity tho
i can't say im glad or mad, it just is what it is, yall gonna have to learn to just appreciate the content and not be as connected to whomever made it
The smart move would be to just lease your likeness out per project, and have certain prompt restrictions so they can't make the A.I. do anything that would damage your image.
Oh and the actors asking about them streaming percentages too
hilarious how the music industry been getting ravaged by streaming percentages for years now and we're VERY close to getting some real answers now due to film unions pressing them
