Ehhh that's what everyone thought until Disney started mismanaging they properties outside of Marvel. They shares were down drastically even before the most recent crash and they sub growth for Disney+ had slowed considerably.
i don't seem them spending $3-5B on a WWE acquisition but..

Im surprised the didnt extend it for most of Asia given WWE weekly tv is missing in some regions like the middle east still
I'm not sure what he's trying to say. Other companies won't exist anymore? AEW might not exist 3 years from now but I'm not sure it'd be bc Disney bought WWE, that'd more than likely happen from lack of growth and or something else happening that pisses more sponsors or Turner execs off. Which honestly kinda seems like it's only a matter of time before they do something off history tbh
Idk how Disney looks at competition since they pretty much have a stranglehold on everything they're in but I see them treating AEW the same way Titan Towers does, only difference is the marks can't get off on the Khans being worth more than the McMahons. Tony and his daddy don't have nearly enough green to go to war with Mickey & Donald

I really need yall to break this mentality about how "Vince beat WCW". Vince didnt "beat" anyone. They lost their deal, the owner lost power, Time Warner hated wrestling and how WCW was losing money and Vince bought them. In the digital age, that wouldnt have happened they would have moved them to another platform just for the content.
AEW isnt going away even if they somehow lose their live tv broadcasting deal. Theres too many streaming services for that. And seeing the way MCU is being handled, WWE might not be in any better spot being handled by Disney than it is now.

I have a 5 year old boy, his mother is a Disney fanatic, it's rubbed off on him.Disney+ kinda sucks, but it's still a million times better than that garbage heap called Peacock. Good for Indonesia
My son has seen the classics, there's plenty of content for adults, and I love the new movies like Soul and Ron's Gone Wrong.
I had Lion King on VHS, and not much more...so in my eyes, hell...I get 5 bucks of content every day. That service spoils me.
