i was saying the other day how that director (either one of them) should do a remake of Dune, but them at the helm of a star wars flick

James Cameron doing a star wars flick would be my ULTIMATE wet dream, I don't even like reading that shyt because it'll never happen, but it would be fukking mind blowingly incredible if it did.

Yes that's the extended universe but Lucas has said he has a different view of what happens to Luke after Return of the Jedi. He submitted his treatments of where the story should go next to them already. Everyone go to "Wookiepedia" to learn about the Extended Universe in the books.

I feel the exact opposite...the "Creative Consultant" label is more of a respect thing...they are just acknowledging his work and commitment to make Star Wars the biggest IP ever. But they gave this man 2 billion in CASH and 2 billion in Disney Stock....he's not calling the shots any more.

As much as he's done EVERYTHING WRONG over the past couple of Decades...I'ma miss Lucas Da Gawd. Can't deny that he went to bat for niccas when he made Redtails (Shame how that turned out). I would hope that he would continue to keep making movies, maybe something smaller and more personal though.

Edit : This is pretty much Lucas's retirement.

That's why Luke Da Goat. He was so powerful, he became a full blown Jedi without completing his training. As Luke grew up in the Extended Universe he became the most powerful Jedi Ever surpassing Yoda and his Father.
