yes, in here forming monopolies/big business is ok, in HL it's not. got it!
Uh no, but in here we about what we watch for entertainment, in there we are about business policies and connecting them to the politics surrounding it. Not just, "Wahhh, I don't like this!" over and over again. Now you got it?

I know I asked this sometime ago.... but it still is crazy to me.

When did it become “just because you like Marvel automatically means you like Disney”? Or why is that narrative still being ran?

Just cuz I say say Thor didn’t mean I was gonna go see Mary Poppins.

And now that I saw Endgame don’t mean I’m gonna go see Aladdin or Lion King

Also everything and every story has already been told. Countless times, originality at best now is about how you can remix something in your vision to tell the same story in a new way with new characters.

But a love story is still a love story, a revenge story is a revenge story, a war is a war, and so on.
Exactly, I was off Star Wars after the prequels. But I guess this is a traveling act from the FOX/Disney merger thread to this thread. The same people offering basically identical posts, complaining about something we are all powerless to stop.

Disney killed off the reputation of Star Wars and it been around 42 years. It was on cruise control status to being among the greatest franchises in the history of fiction, but Disney managed to ruin it beyond repair. Somehow, no one talks about that part.

Was it on cruise control during the shytty Ewok movies? The holiday special? The prequels?
