Come on, if Floyd showed up like he did when he wrestled Big Show, and if Conor McGregor showed up like he does after UFC fights, they would NOT be door at the PC, especially with the dearth of actually charismatic people in wrestling. It's not 100% how you look, it's how you're presented, and that's been the WWE's problem for more than a decade. They present people like losers. Our Universal champion has recently been seen looking like Becky's girlfriend, cowering in the corner as The Fiend flips a light switch on and off, and whining on twitter on a WWE-crusade.

They'd do to Floyd and Conor the same thing they did to Lio Rush and Drake Maverick. Let them wrestle on NXT or 205 but be jokes or managers on the main roster.

Actually a good point. Both Drake and Rush have booming personalities, but I think Drake's Impact stench made them book him how they did initially. Not sure was what up with Rush's initial booking. Or maybe I do :mjpls:

Athletic competitive sports have always changed over time. The NBA is a much faster game than it was in Jordan’s era and much less physical. Even in boxing general stances and guard positions have changed. Remember when B-Hop started influencing everyone to keep their guard down? We don’t even need to talk about how much MMA has changed, your most dominant personalities went from college wrestling backgrounds to strikers. Why is professional wrestling not allowed to change?

Like the WWE having storylines revolving around authority figures, a staple since 1999:sas2:???

This exactly.. whats wrong with wrestling a slower pace so that the huge spots actually mean something? Or having a distinct gimmick with a move set tailored to it? Seems like all these 150lb geeks all have the same moveset. The real problem is the industry let in too many nerds. Y
You'd need the entire industry to take a dip and come back

That aew dark match with Kenny was awful. The fakest shyt I ever seen lol.

Geeks ruin everything, always exposing the worst part of an industry for money; and the uncreative geeks are the worst cause they always reach for the lowest hanging fruit. Youngcacs and their obsession with meta unironic irony, is at the top of my list for woat.

Geeksruined poker, standup comedy, and wrestling THE SAME EXACT WAY.

The #1 problem in wrestling is clear: ITS NOT COOL. Like at all. Geeks themselves don't want to be the king of geeks, that tells u all u need to know.

With all his incredible knowledge it’s a wonder why Disco wasn’t ever brought in to WWE, or why he isn’t running his own company to do it right. Seems like now folks wanna work just enough to get to the E and hang out backstage.

Same with Al Snow.. he got over with garbage gimmicks but understands psychology. If he's not back, he should be

Edit - This is a spot-on take. I've had a beer with RVD and didn't ask him nothing about his job :russ:

Listening to this, I'm surprised Jericho hasn't brought the Lion-Tamer back as the "4th Wall of Jericho" :ohhh:

you can tell who listen to this audio and who didn't. Nothing in this audio was about in-ring work. this was just about cool factor and wrestlers treating THEMSELVES like stars. They are 100% correct.

And their point about the fans asking them about other wrestling shyt is dead on. or playing a damn wrestling card game with wrestlers LOL.
