Rick Carlisle - One of the better quality coaches with a NBA Championship
Texas - 2nd largest state & considered to be one of the top States in the U.S culturally & economically.
Dallas - One of the top, major cities in the U.S
Dirk Nowitzki - Still a very good player who can be an integral piece to a championship caliber team even though he's older (18ppg last year)
No State taxes in Texas

So what's your take as to why most Free Agents aren't going to play for the Mavericks?
