DINKS: Dual Income NO Kids and they piss everyone off

You can end up dying alone with or without children. Those without children can still be that aunt and uncle that all of the family loves too. My oldest uncle was childless, always wanted a child, and would have made a great father. In death, there were plenty of people at his funeral mourning his loss, which included all of his nieces and nephews whom we all agreed was our favorite uncle.

Those who do not desire children should not have them. I experienced being the child of a woman who did not really want me, and I can tell you it is a hell on earth childhood. So I have no problem with those who recognize they are not the parenting type avoiding becoming parents. That does not mean they can't be a benefit to children in their family, just that they understand they are not built to be a father or mother full time. My oldest sister, born 7 years after me, has taken this path and I am perfectly fine with her decision.

My aunt is in her 70s recently was in the hospital doctors discovered a brain tumor and it was removed.

She has like 4 kids, like 20 grand kinds and even great great grand kids.

All live in Toronto

She needs someone to be by her side for the next 6 weeks

Not one of her kids or grandkids offered to take her in

It's ironic, but some people really have children for selfish reasons.

Wow that's crazy how people aren't having kids in a society that offers public education but continues to cut the funding. No public child care, no public health care and no public college or university.

I can't believe that in a society where everything is getting more expensive while wages stagnate and worker protections are eroded each election cycle that people don't want to have kids.

It's almost like people don't want to go into economic ruin trying to raise kids that may get murdered by a mass shooter while the government reacts like :

Wife and I waited nearly 10 years before having kids. It was awesome. Nieces and Nephews loved us, as we spent on them as if they were our own kids. I Love my kids to death, but its a financial drain like I never could have imagined. I always tell young couples to not rush into having kids, but to enjoy their time together. Given how young adults are waiting until their 30s to get married, putting off having kids is a gamble when by age 35, pregnancy becomes high risk for women. DINK is dope.
