Yo, never seen / heard this. Not saying OP is lying, but how we know this is his last beat? This was literally programmed on that MPC he had at the hospital? Def serious question, and ain't trying to be a d!ck.

Props in advance and, no matter what, thanks for posting a Dilla beat I ain't never heard.

*Edit: never mind. I saw it was from a PodCast featuring ?uestlove.

Questlove talked about it and played a snippet many years ago. He made a few hours before he passed.
And I've talked to someone cool with some people who was around Dilla around that time, it's legit.
It's crazy how I found it lol. I was looking for the full joint for years then one day i stumbled on this random dublab show called Explorations that had an Dilla tribute and this track came on.Bruh I swear time stopped for a minute! :russ:

Yea, that's a misconception that Donuts is the very last thing he worked on. It was further explained in the book J Dilla Donuts (33 1/3). It was made in 05 (OG Donuts has 27 tracks) was 1 of 3 CDs he gave to PBW. But Donuts specifically was his goodbye to everyone tho. There's an unreleased Donuts Sequel called Pizzaman, around that time he named beat batches after foods he couldn't eat anymore due to his condition. Actually the very last beat CD he ever made is still unreleased and only a select few of people have it.
