Wow, Nintendo
Nintendo is playing chess. First, when the PS4 drops in 2014, The Wii U will be 2 years old. By then, they would have some of their heavy hitters as well as at least a few 3rd party companies drop AAA titles. Calculating that if it takes PS4 2 years to get AAA titles as the norm, it will be 2016 by then, and the Wii U will be 4 years old. 2 years after that, in 2018, Nintendo will drop ANOTHER console that can surpass the PS4's power with another gameplay innovation, right when the PS4 is hitting their stride.
one can hope though.
we can now, categorically, finally rule out any next-gen pretensions for the Wii U - the GCN hardware in Durango and Orbis is in a completely different league

Considering the wii u controller is a fukking handheld, i wouldnt be surprised if this was their last shot at legitimately posing as competition.Honestly I wish Nintendo would just go the Sega route and make games for the competition and stop trying to make these weak gimmick consoles. They could keep making hand helds so since that's the only platform they've been good at
