I'm going with the guys that had Dilla on production.

Both groups were dope, but the Pharcyde's first two albums were damn near masterpieces.

Pharcyde first album was damn near classic I didn't like none of the shyt they did after that

they work with Jay Dee is overrated to hell and back....its good but not as good as they first album

2nd Digable Planets album is better than any Pharcyde album. Pharcyde had good singles but the albums as a whole don't hold up. Also, much like De La Soul, they lost me when they lost their sense of humor.

Tough one. Really just depends on the mood. But I think overall pharcyde were just more talented. Runnin is a top 10 track ever. Pharcyde always had them GOAT level chorus.

Pharcyde's first album is a more daring effort then Reaching and has more replay value but Blowout Comb is something totally different,that album is a dark horse classic imo, musically it's a huge leap forward and they all got better at contributing to a cohesive sound.Labcabin was great but would have been ok without the influence of Dilla on the overall sound of the album and to me was a step down from Bizarre ride.

Also, much like De La Soul, they lost me when they lost their sense of humor.

ATCQ, Pharcyde, De La Soul all changed their sound and subject matter significantly working with Jay Dee (and q-tip too to an extent). Some say its for the better, others not so much.

I got pharcyde though.
