As stated b4, Once I love you, I will always have love for you. That doesn't mean I want to be with the person, that I should be with them or want them. Caring about their well being but not needing to be in their life or wanting to be.

Being in love is the desire for a person. It is the present. You want them, you care about them, and want to be there.
