I believe the lawsuit is because he performs the song. Finesse wanted him to give him credit and he didn't so he sued him. Personally, I think Finesse should have found another way to deal with it with out going to court. He's gonna set a precedent that will hurt hiphop if he wins

yeah that kinda sucks, sampling has always been apart hiphop. I understand getting credit of a massively sold album.

But demanding money from a performance is bytchassness. Especially for a young artist. Lord Finesse should be lucky that Mac Miller is paying homage at all, because I guarantee Miller's milk toast suburb fans dont give a fukk who Finesse is.

So he already had a situation like this and found out that the way to solve this kind of problem is to give the original producer credit...and still he didn't do it? :dwillhuh: I hope Finesse gets some pocket change out of this. :obama: Just off principle. :skip:

I don't give a fukk bout Mac Miller but the bigger picture hurts hiphop as a whole
