Die Hard is one of the greatest movies of all time and easily the best in the series, but I'm glad to see 3 getting love on here.
Easily the best after no 1 and is one of the best action movies. Plus the bond between Bruce Willis between Samuel L Jackson is the best character relationship in the series.
John McTiernan was that guy on 1 and 3. Should've done all of them really

My favorite scene in Vegeance is when he murks those dudes in the elevator. Damn shame we didn't get more classics from McTiernan after this flick. He had a good run but this was his last good movie.

Basic is pretty good actually. It’s not on the level of his top tier stuff but it’s good.

He fell off hard after Die Hard 3. Basic was decent just not memorable. He made several shytty movies even that 13 warrior which I believe he was even replaced as director. I think his divorce fukked him all up.Basic is pretty good actually. It’s not on the level of his top tier stuff but it’s good.

And he didn't end up going to jail for years after he got in that trouble. Took like over a decade to finally see prison time.
Dude was the man at one point. Damn shame.
