Here’s the problem...

Bruce wasn’t even Bruce in DHII

It was as if the original writers got back on board in DHIII

DHII had super bad plot & dialogue

Die Hard I & III were both directed by John McTiernan.

Die Hard II was directed by Renny Harlin.

That's probably your answer right there. And #2 isn't completely terrible, but it's basically a beat for beat sequel to the original, just in a different location.

I didn’t fukk with DHII one bit...

The John from DH was hesitant to get involved with the bullshyt. DHII John just jumped right in. On top of that things progressed wayyyyyy too quickly before you had any idea what was going on. The shyt just seemed hokey honestly. Plus Hans & Co were way more interesting

That’s how I feel

I don't disagree but I would definitely watch Die Hard 2 over the Die Hard movies that came out after With a Vengeance. In my mind With a Vengeance was the conclusion.

This new Bruce ain't my Bruce :hubie:

I fukks with Die Hard 4 way more than 2. Movie is an easy watch, humorous, dope, and has charm. I have no reason to revisit part 2. I feel like 2 is a paint by the numbers action movie.

INSTEAD OF JAMES EVANS SR. FROM GOOD TIMES.

Awww man I loved that shyt

Simon had the ill grin when he thought he had John. Right when we going to let the hammer ring John spotted that live wire. Incredible
I remember being in the theater like that was kinda corny. But I loved pretty much everything else. But I'm glad the ending was good enough for you.

And for as much hate Die Hard 2 gets, that fight on the wing of that 747 was dope af and delivered as a final sequence unlike part 3.
