Apparently he’s one of the subjects of a new documentary on gay wrestlers

Wrestling's Queer History Comes Out in 'Out in the Ring' Trailer

A new documentary tells the hidden history of LGBTQ+ wrestling.

Out in the Ring, directed by Ryan Bruce Levey, speaks with both legends and current stars of professional wrestling to discuss the past, present, and future of queer performers in the ring.

Using both interviews and rare archival footage, the film sheds light on the contributions of LGBTQ+ wrestling stars as well as the bigotry they faced, including homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, misogyny, and racism. Resulting struggles included addiction, depression, and injury.

Over two dozen subjects were interviewed for this never-before-seen look at this representation in the sport. They include Susan Green, Sgt. dikkson, Iggy "Madness" Mendoza, Sonny Kiss, Mike Parrow, Kiera Hogan, Diamante, Charlie Morgan, AC Mack, Kaitlin Diemond, Effy, Billy Dixon, Lisa Marie Varon, Zack Sabre Jr., SoCal Val, Vandal Drummond, Greg Oliver, Bertrand Hebert, and Wade Keller.

Produced by Brad Webb and for RBL Films, Out in the Ring will begin screening in festivals in May 2021 before premiering online. The film is still crowdfunding for post-production fees; contribute at GoGetFunding.com.

That’s surprising. Also didn’t know SoCal Val was too. I remember my friends and I saw her coming outta a room with Petey Williams at a PWG show. She was fixing her skirt as s when they opened the door.
