So I finally listened to the whole album during a late night gym session and my Wife gon' get it when I Get in! Ha
The reason the album is getting universal love is cos he's taken the current usage of his 90's Badboy beats and done it himself. Including young artists which the kids love alongside authenticity of being grown (and still flawed) from the 90's era music like that Teddy Riley, Jodeci and Mary J Blige albums he was actually around for, based on one thing a lot of current music is missing....a theme!
There ain't many other producers & artists that coulda pulled this off.
I give Puff (not Diddy) credit when he called RnB Soul our superpower, cos it's the last, most authentic music Black artists were making before the so-called Gangsta rap era which followed.
