bingo!!
THE REASON "DIDDY' CAN'T LEAVE...IS BECAUSE AS "SUGE" said HE OWES THEM CRACKERS TO MUCH MONEY......
alot of people don't realize that as "wealthy" as Diddy appears , he also is carrying a heap of DEBT...
he changed distributors over 4 times within a 15 year period to make up a huge deficit he has accumulated ...
proof of that was during his last transition when he wanted to leave Warner/Atlantic and had to "beg" Lyor to at least let him keep the Bad Boy name....
Back in September of 2009, when Diddy announced his move from Atlantic to Interscope Records, Diddy revealed that Lyor Cohen had allowed him to keep "his name," Bad Boy. Cohen is the Vice Chairman and Chairman and CEO, Recorded Music - Americas and the U.K. for Warner Music Group, Atlantic's parent company.
However, according to one Atlantic source, the use of the name was only intended to extend to Diddy's releases - such as "Last Train to Paris" - and not to artists Diddy would sign to Interscope moving forward. But, with i SQUARE and Cassie both releasing music under "Bad Boy/Interscope," both parties have been actively discussing the point of confusion.

Diddy went from Arista to Universal to (WEA)Warner/Atlantic and now Interscope.....
simply because he defualted two loans, one of which he obtained to release Bad Boy's from thier contractual obligations to Universal.....
it is spoken about it in this article in 2005 in the midst of him first linking up with Lyor:
"Recently, he sold half of his Bad Boy music catalog to the Warner Music Group for $35 million. He dismissed speculation that he owed about $12 million of that to his old distributor, Universal. He said that he paid much less than that to settle an old loan and let him get out of his contract with Universal eight months early. A spokesman for Universal had no comment."
Which is why he had to "beg" Lyor Cohen to let him keep the Bad Boy name, because Lyor was carrying Diddy's debt when he prematurely left Universal Records which wasn't a profitable venture at all..........
Even Mark Curry commented on how that era with Universal Records was a real dark time financially for Bad Boy, flopping ass albums by B5, NEW EDITION, CARL THOMAS SOPHMORE EFFORT, 112 when they got fat along with the disappointing BAD BOY SOUTH venture with Block sank Diddy and Bad Boy in the red (debt).
and i don't think Diddy don't wanna talk about that LOAN FROM RON BURKLE...nah he don't wanna TALK ABOUT THE 100 MILLION DOLLAR LOAN FROM RON BURKLE.....
u damn right...when he says HE WON'T STOP..HE CAN'T STOP.....he ain't got no choice but to KEEP WORKING
