everyone portrayed puff and biggie as some innocent children who got bullied by DR. Them nikkas were ruthless in the inside ESPECIALLY puff..

I know what u mean...everyone thinks it was on some extortion sh*t...which was never the case...Puff had the streets behind him in the 90s...Uncle Zip gave him that comfort to run the game the way he wanted...Wolf was always there and had gang ties underneath to make moves

Drake is way softer than Cole, Kendrick, and even Kanye. Cole held his own against Puff, and Ye put his hands on cacs. Drake is a problem in terms of lacking masculinity, but the rap game more peaceful than having a thousand Beanie Sigels running around and getting locked up every week.
Nah Cole makes soft nikka music

Power Trip is one of the softest most homootional songs Iver ever heard

Kanye is carries himself llike an eccentric diva

and Kdot...

well I wont include kdot

But Ye Cole and Drake are the faces for soft ass nikkaz

So what is "regular" or "hard" nikka music then? Busting guns and pushing packs from state to state?

Nah hard music is music that envokes passion for things that are worth it and highlights genuine struggle

Cole regular ass nikka "im a hip hop fan I let nas down simp ass music" or Drake's "come to me if ur man treating u wrong" ass music is not

Those 2 light skin soft ass nikkaz are the face of soft nikka music

The problem is, the "struggle" of the ghetto has been exaggerated and it only relates the to small percentage of dudes that actually commit crimes and all that shyt. 95% of the hood don't do that shyt and live regular lives. What about the black kid named Dexter in Brooklyn that works in Cold Stone ice cream store? Where is his story? Where is Larry's story of going to school and paying off all his debt? Where is that story? Instead, we hear of countless (wannabe) goons, killers, dope dealers, and so on. Chuck D spoke of this nearly 20 years ago, and only now are people waking up to this thanks to the success of Cole and Kendrick.

Im glad that the super goon story of killings and jail time is marginalized because it created a generation of lost ass nikkas.

Cole is out there protesting and sh!thing on half his own race (cacs)

Go listen to relisten to Born Sinner specifically Rich N!ggas, New York Times and Miss America ... Drake would never say anything like this

Just a young little nikka tryin' to see the other side
Of the railroad tracks, where them scarecrows at
No brains on a nikka but they'll air your back
fukk the man, Uncle Sam I won't sell your crack
I won't fight your wars, I won't wear your hat
I'm a pass your classes, I'm a learn your craft
I'm a fukk your daughters, I'm a burn your flag

struggle doesnt have to be dope dealing and killing but Cole doesnt speak on real struggle and any time he attempts to speak on struggle
he speaks on it in such a non chalant way downplayign the struggle in his music

ANy soft nikka can talk that sht

Drake and Cole are the same breed of soft because they both make the same "simp anthems"

They both lack the struggle to envoke true passion in their music unlike a Kdot or a Pac

and they grew up with white mommaz listening to hip hop in their cac upbringing so they make music as fans

Thats why Cole sounds like such a stan on so many of his records...

Like i said Cole and Drake are the faces for soft nikkaz...period

Also if u wanna be real

U complain about the struggle of the average ass nikka not being highlighted

Well Drake and Cole speak more of average every day nikka struggles of family, relationships, etc. than Kdot who moreso speaks on the struggles of the hood and hood alone

:dahell:

What is "real" struggle?

Poverty? Cole covers that.

Not being socially acceptable because color of your skin? Cole talks about that

Being in debt that he recently won? He talks about that

His people in da ville that trapped in a :demonic: lifestyle with no hope of getting out? he talks about that.

You clearly want some exaggerated story of the hood that your mind been conditioned to over all these years of listening to gangsta rap.

Kendricks speaks for everyone and how to OVERCOME the :demonic: lifestyle of the hood. A lot of people hate when people overcome challenges because they too content on being a part of the struggle for the sake of talking about it, to validate themselves to their lost ass peers. Cole ain't no soft nikka that marched and protested for Ferguson when most of the "real" artists were too busy partying and playing the :mjpls: role pretending everything is normal.
