What are people expecting here.

1- If he doesn't release any statement he looks heartless.

2- If his lawyers release a statement it looks like he's not accountable.

3- If he posts a video but reads from a script it looks inauthentic.

4- If he posts a prayer people complain that he's using religion.

The man will get crucified either way.

The man went to church this morning, had 48 hours to reflect and respond and posted a video unscripted straight from his mind and heart and looked the world in his eyes showing himself.

1- He's showing leadership, courage and accountability.

2- He is showing industry, society that he's taking full responsibly.

3- He has gone to therapy, seeked out his religious roots, and has / is taken steps to become a better man, father, friend to many people.

This doesn't mean he's guilty of trafficking or RICO or selling drugs, or any other mud being slung at him. He is strictly talking about a dark place in his life where he hit rock bottom in 2016 and was in a toxic relationship and struggled.

The comeback will be strong.

I wish I had an Instagram account right now so I could read all the comments. You know damn well that there’s a bunch of accounts still supporting Diddy and half of them were made by Meek.

My cousin who's a crip in Fort Greene is in the comments praying for Diddy and tellin him he is forgiven

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Diddy kept looking to the right, spoke about being sorry, looked to the left, then the head nod downwards at the end. Dude don't even look sincere with his apology. Receiving therapy after this incident in 2016. I wonder what he'll say when more empirical evidence from the 2020s comes up. It's over for Pee Diddy :francis:

He looked exactly the same as this video

Interesting how he didn't say in interviews or anything before that "I did some really awful things that I regret. I'm reaching out personally to the people I hurt. I wasn't a good person back then and I'm still not but I want to be a better person than I was then. The people who can decide whether I've changed are the people who've been most hurt by my actions"

IF he had done that 1,2,3,4,5,6, or 7(the year the assault happened) years ago, he would not be in this situation. But see, this is what money and power does to you. Kings were always shocked when they realized that it was over and they really were about to be executed in public. You come to believe, after years of pushing boundaries and getting away with it, that you really are special and if you do something and get away with it and you're around other people who are the same, then it's not wrong.

I'm tired of this world that we've allowed to exist where if you have the right amount of zeroes in your bank account that you can do whatever you want to whomever you want and get away with it. He thought that because he's a billionaire, he's no longer human. He's on the level of a god and a different standard applies to him.

Treat him the same as you'd treat an unemployed black man who hits his kids and his wife. He needs to be brought back down to earth.

There are a few, but it's mostly people getting at him
