Great documentary. Basically explained the history of Scientology in the first hour and how crazy it is in the second hour. Ron Hubbard was crazy as fukk. Thetans? :comeon:Come on son?

John Travolta aint coming out of Scientology or coming out of the closet any time soon.

Tom Cruise neither. Both of them probably do demonic gay activity that they can't stop doing.

All those audits that they paid for are going to bite them in the ass. :pause: :damedame:

Will Smith is a Scientologist, keep it 100 brehs. So was Isaac Hayes. The black members don't seem to get much attention. I wonder why? :mjpls:

I wonder who the parents of Cruise's children are? Are they Scientologists too?

gotta laugh at the fact these nutjobs have to fork over a ton of cash and reach a certain level to learn about Xenu. No wonder there are members of this shyt, who the fukk would stick around after hearing that story? if they told you about Xenu on day 1, they'd have nobody. They apparently only have 50k members worldwide but make a killing in real estate with their tax exemption. it's such a scam/cult.

Actually came out of this believing that Cruise/Travolta (much more Travolta) are slaves. Scientology owns them. They've probably been threatening releasing all their gay dirt for years, but at this point no one even cares anymore.

Cruise is certifiable though, he's definitely bought in 100% at this point. No mention of Will Smith, is it confirmed he's a scientologist or is that still speculation?
Will Smith has stated he is not a scientologist.

No, but apparently Doug E Fresh wrote a song about his love for Dianetics "technology":

I also ready that MC Lyte was a Scientologist.

Thats pretty interesting.
See, scientology is one of those things where you can't be a a 'secret' member. If it were discovered that you were getting readings and doing other scientology stuff with the consent of the church and at the same time telling the media you were not a scientologist it would completely ruin the credibility that the church leadership has with the members. Cause their major thing is telling the truth (as they see it) and acurately accounting events. Thats the way they are supposed to get to 'clear' and beyond. So really, if anybody publically states they are not a scientologist, they are not... or won't be for long anyway.

That whole 'Will Smith is a scientologist' stuff is like the Obama's a muslim rhetoric to me. Just ask him. He says he isn't? Then he isn't. How do people believe they can decide another person's religion for them?
Thats crazy to me.

Sidenote: How is that Doug E Fesh song about scientology?
I didn't get that from that song AT ALL. He is talking about making music. He says it in the song.

I agree about Will Smith. The whole point of recruiting celebrities is to use them to lead other people to join. So a "secret" celebrity Scientologist would be counter productive.

As for the Doug E Fresh song, I googled the phrase "Joy of Creating". Apparently, most of the lyrics are literally L Ron Hubbard quotes set to music:

Oh, I didn't know that about that phrase.
But, in the song at one point he says something along the lines of "I create music" so I assumed he was talking about creating music makes him happy. Lots of people have made songs along those lines.

Thats wild... thanks for the info.

He opened a school that utilized their teaching method.
They trademark all their stuff, so the actual method of teaching is owned by scientology. But the school isn't teaching scientology stuff, its just utilizing the teaching method which has been proven to be extremely effective.

Its like when teachers in the 90s would make educational rap songs then stupid people would assume the teachers are getting thier kids into guns and drugs because of the methodology (rap). But the methodology in and of itself is only a delivery system. It has no inherent content. Same with the style the scientologist use to teach. If you can take out the religious stuff and teach english, or math in the same fashion. And that fashion has been proven to work... why wouldn't you.

So thats what Will Smith did... then TMZ and everyone was like GET HIM HE'S A SCIENTOLOGIST!
:snoop:

For those that don't really feel like watching the vid, I'll sum it up. And this isn't me being a jerk, I watched the whole thing.

Its a series of interviews with rich white people. Legitamately rich. As in tens of thousands in disposable income, travelling the world, cacs.
They are upset that another group of rich white people (that they used to belong to) took their money and time.

They complain about shyt like 'he invited us out to sea on a yatch but the yatch was rusty' and 'the trailer we had to live in smelled funny' and shyt like that for 90 minutes.
Boo Hoo, they told me I couldn't see John Travolta after our private advanced screening of his new movie.
Tom Cruise has a bigger better room than us.

If you have any real world problems you will struggle not to turn this self-absorbed whinny pity party of a documentary off the entirety of it length.

They make outrageous claims that set your bs meter off right away, and thats the documentary people as well as the scientology side.

There is one part where this chick who was married to LRon Hubbard says she only married him cause he was gonna commit suicide, then she only stayed with him out of fear, then she only had kids with him cause she couldnt leave, then he kidnaps the kids and takes them to cuba and lets a retarded couple (they literally said the couple was retarded) babysit the kid, then he calls her and says he killed the kid, and he held a gun to her to get her to divorce and sign away custody.
Complete 10 out of 10 bullshyt alarms going off all throughhout this broads story. At no point does she call the police, even after he says (according to her) he's chopped their baby into little pieces and dumped it into the riiver.
Really?

My honest take away from this flick is that although the Scientology side is full of shyt, the people in this movie on the anti-scientology side are full of shyt too.
After watching the whole thing, I am more knowledgable about the religion... but give 0 fukks about the so-called victims.

There is a point in the movie where they spend like 20 minutes complaining that the church leader made them play musical chairs. Litterally. Thats not a metaphor for anything.
Then, you know what happened to the losers? Nothing. Nothing happened.

fukking white people. Get some real problems or shut the fukk up already.
