We put thousands of satellites and probes into orbit and deep space using the same rocket tech. So your logic is flawed. Adding a human to that equation is more expensive and dangerous for little payback right now. This is the same government that doesn’t even want to pay for social safety net programs, they not trying to subsidize trips to the moon for no reason
Yeah yeah yeah.

60/70 years passing by without another successful manned mission is excessive enough to the point where I have a hard time believing they did it the first time, period. They gonna have to show and prove, I'm done believing any and everything the government says to us. I see Elon and SpaceX struggling to put a ship in the air damn near yearly in the 2020s and I'm expected to believe we pulled that shyt off in the 60s before we even had cell phones..yeah right

The Van Allen Radiation Belts make me not 100% sure we went to the moon either

USA wanted to win the Cold War by any means necessary. It is what it is

Damn, I just thought the phone call was funny.
There's a lot of reasons to be skeptical of the moon landing. I've already named several, you purposely only mentioned the phone call.
Breh Russia confirmed the landing during the Cold War. Why would they do that if we didn’t? As far as the reason why we’ve haven’t been back all you have to do is look back at what was going on in US during the 70s to now. There was at least two recessions and a couple of wars going on that took priority, not to mention NASA’s budget always being on the chopping block.

I'm not into conspiracy theories, but this sketchy phone call from Richard Nixon, on a landline, in 1969, to the fukking moon doesn't help:

There are also the points that (1) we were in the heart of the Cold War, and it was important we beat the Russians to the moon, (2) we are the only country to successfully land humans on the moon and (3) that no one has been able to do so again since 1972.

Looks fugazi as shyt :mjlol:

SpaceX is not struggling to launch rockets bruh, you made that up. Again rocket tech hasn’t progressed much since the 60s bc the concept is essentially the same. Why are we sending someone to the moon? That’s the question you need to ask. We did it, beat our political rival there, planted a few flags and brought some rocks back.

Former Russia Space Chief:

'It was not clear to me how US, at that level of technological development in 1960s, did what they still cannot do now,' says Dmitry Rogozin

This is more than likely Russia propaganda, but it works because many people have the same questions.

I have no reason to believe we landed on the moon. Technology is way better now but I'm supposed to believe it's harder to do than it was back then?

Tell me how that makes sense.
