We get Trump/Beto/Gavin/Florida goblin etc in office, the prices aren't gonna go back down.

We're an oligarchy and the oligarchs rule at this point.

The only real solution is lessening your footprint as much as possible and being frugal with what comes in.

If that means starting or contributing to a community garden, so be it.

They've proven that we'll complain, be pissed but keep the machine going so why would they try and fix what in their eyes isn't really broken?

He's right about the Democrats having horrible messaging. They barely talk about things like the infrastructure bill that was passed, some of the great anti-monopoly work the FTC is engaged in, the anti-union busting they've been supporting etc. Instead they try to out-republican republicans on the border issue and Israel. It's insane.

As a side note I'm surprised he didn't bust out some funky dope rhymes for us there. With the pauses I thought he was about to do it like when she speaks on the house floor.
