Did they really kill the headphone jack on TV's?

First TV I remember us having as a kid had a pull out and push in button to turn it on and off.
It would get static from time to time and you had to smack it on the side to get the picture to clear up.
And you could only play the game if your tv was set to channel 3 or 4.
From my earliest memory our living room TV looked very similar to this:

i thought soundbars were kinda wack and overpriced. any good ones out there :flabbynsick:
Every TV manufacturer generally has a line of soundbars ranging from the more budget friendly all the way to the premium end. You can generally just google (tv manufacturer) soundbar 2024 and you’ll see what they have to offer.

Get a Roku Tv download the app and you could listen to your tv with headphones through the app
