(warning; :flabbynsick: babble ahead)

i use a good set of 2.1 computer speakers plugged into my tv (i'm in a condo, it's plenty of bass and sound). i'm in the market for a "65, and i noticed that most of them don't have a fukkin headphone jack anymore :dead:

assuming you're putting the speaker right by the tv, and wires aren't an issue, bluetooth doesn't even seem like it has a single advantage over plugging it in. im surprised they'd eliminate the 3.5 on tv's, it's not like a phone that needs the space

anyway, thought id see if anyone has a rec for decent bluetooth speakers around 100-150 bucks

My first tv as a little kid back in 1990 had a headphone jack in the front.
First TV I remember us having as a kid had a pull out and push in button to turn it on and off.
It would get static from time to time and you had to smack it on the side to get the picture to clear up.
And you could only play the game if your tv was set to channel 3 or 4.
