we printed 3, unpaid for, two trillion dollar covid bills. in a year and a half

it was both :yeshrug:

no i dont know :dahell:

print like crazy and think inflation wont catch up to your ass brehs :dahell:

If it was Trump who printed and spent all that money (and that's the case) that resulted in inflation then why refer to it as bidenomics as one poster already did and a lot of uninformed mofo in this country do

This is equavalent to blaming obama for the iraq war that Bush jr started

You're real vague.

Can you list each and every expense? And I mean every one. I'd be living like a king on $131k.

Bullshyt. It's people surviving on half that. They ain't living grand, but they good.

$131k is a great salary in a majority of cities outside of maybe what, LA, NY, and Boston?
You dont see my location i live in boston

People still calling it inflation when we know it's price gouging. :deadrose:
I dont know why this has to be repeated. A company isnt going to see their profits explode if theyre just passing on costs. CEOs are bragging about it on earnings calls.

And somehow magically theyre able to drop prices when they get bad PR for it

People talking about inflation :mjlol:

Inflation hasnt doubled since 2019.

OP are you taking a pay check? If so, your enployer is likely withholding more for taxes than they used to. You should get that back once you file.

Otherwise it's likely lifestyle creep, or gambling.

Breh, create a budget and use it for a crisp month.

If you're being honest, you see exactly what comes in and goes out, after taxes of course.

:wow:

If this is happening, you need to lower your adjustable gross income (AGI) via:
- contribute to company 401k and max it; other examples: TSP, IRA, etc.
- use the HSA or FSA (medical expenses)
- take advantage of either the commute travel expense, education or childcare contribution (not all companies do this)

Basically, taking pre-taxed money & sending it to those aforementioned areas in an effort to lower the amount that is taxed, b.

Taxes are no joke for that bracket and you will get no love/sympathy. People will think you rich. That bracket carries the burden as poor obviously get breaks which they should and rich have a million loopholes, so burden always fall on that middle group and they end up on that treadmill tryna chase the next level or run away from the previous one (all on perspective I guess)

Its not THAT bad. Others have said it i think its lifestyle creep. Soon as you buy a nicer car and better apartment that raise is gone.

I made the same mistake myself. Then sat down and made a budget and realized where my money was really going. At that salary your groceries even doubling wont hurt you at all.

Ok that makes sense. I figured you had to have lived in one of those major cities. I'd just go down your list and see what you can cut out. Pay off any car loans or credit card debt, those are real killers.

See how close you are to the next lowest tax bracket. Sometimes you can put more in your 401k and drop down a tier and end up getting more back. Might even be able to do some charitable giving to help get there

Top 4
alot of is inflation, you're making much more but everything else is much more as well.

Food is super expensive, gas is super expensive, buying a car is super expensive.

Also just because you make more you have to look at what your work takes out as well.

After the government takes their cut, then my organization takes 8% for pension if i had a job making the exact same money but didn't have a pension my take home would be much much more.
