Did Married With Children Have Any "Serious" Moments?

they had serious moments but they never played it up like other sitcoms where things slow down and music starts to play.

Seinfeld never spent a lot of time on serious issues because none of the cast gave a fukk about anyone but themselves.

Another was when he was helping his ex-girlfriend with the "thugs". Any other show would go real serious with it but they made it laughable.

They kind of had one in season 3 when Steve **** thought he had sex with cousin Maeby and he came down and told Gob he made a huge mistake and Gob finally admitted to being his father...but then Gob took a forget me now pill so I don't know if that really counts lol.

I think the only "serious" moment was the first season when it the Lakeside Mall had a santa that was supposed to skydive to the mall but instead the parashute didn't open and he landed in the Bundy's back yard being killed on impact. Marcy was shooked and Al had to play Santa so the kids wouldn't be shook. It was all jokes but they dealt with it realistic as they possibly could.
