wayne dropped c3 for HIP HOP..he did it for us brehs...classic album, big numbers, a whole culture shifted and became relevant again

The version of Tha Carter III that was released was an example of a rapper who bought way too into his own hype....and a victim of bootlegging, poor song choice, etc etc.....Truthfully, Wayne has been on a downward trend ever since. His drug use and personality also started to seep through around this time.
