if fans can't listen to more than one album, then they have serious mental issue the prevents them from simple tasks. I have one date for you, September 29, 1998. Two gold, 2 platinum albums was released and another classic album that probably has sold only 250k to date. People are going to listen to what they want to listen to. ESPECIALLY SINCE ALL THE shyt IS FREE NOW!!!!!
^^^^Great point about September 29, 1998

I never understood that...I bought Streets is a Mutha and Chronic 2001 on November 16th 1999 and they both got plenty of play for the duration of 99 and throughout 2000.
I never understood that logic if you are a fan of two artists releasing the same day just buy both. Which is what ppl used to do.

I wonder if Dre is mad

Listening to Luther to this

:mjlol:

This shyt sounds like rap for soccer moms in burbank :mjlol: like I don't get why you would envoke the nostalgia with the title then deliver something that's sonically so foreign to the source material....fukk missionary they should have called this shyt Target or Trader Joe's....because that's the energy it's giving off.....I knew Dre was washed when he put out that garbage ass compton album but this is just a got damn shame

How old are you?

Every Snoop/dre song is a buzz plus 30 year anniversary of Doggystyle
I am 37, again, I’m gonna ask you, where exactly is the buzz? I’ve seen plenty of interviews, but where are the singles being played? Any tracks being played during games or commercials or anything ? The rollout basically seems to be “hey Doggystyle dropped 30 years ago and now I’m dropping Missionary”.

For me personally, the Marsha Ambrosius album made me more hopeful for this album than anything else (I haven’t heard any track from Missionary btw)

It does seem like Snoop is leaning all the way heavy into letting others write for him. From the songs I've heard so far he sounds good and refreshed but it's also a lot of "over production" going on. These guys got enough $$$ to make a classic sample heavy hip-hop album these days. That's always hip-hop at its best to me. I wished they had kept it g-funky but also mixed in that new "west coast bay area bop" too. It's not gonna be that. It's going to be some "too polished Dre shyt based on what I've heard so far. It's still a day one cop/stream/bootleg or whatever for me though. These are my guys since 88( I was 10) with Dre and 92 (I was 14) for Snoop. And since Snoop has a permanent spot in my top 3 of all-time it's all good.

it does sound like u described which is unfortunately sensible given that they using this garbage to push some "gin & juice " by snoop and dre drink

fits right in aisle 10 🗑

(wouldn't be suprised if dre didnt even produce that garbage ass song... i actually hope he didn't lmao)

Let’s be real…Dre waited TOO damn long to drop an album with Snoop again.

This should’ve came out a few years after The Compton album.

Snoop can still rap but his verses sound AI generated these days lol and Dre’s production ain’t what it used to be but I’ll still listen when it drops.

What year are you in?

The mystique of Dre releasing new music died when Compton came out and them weak ass Detox singles. Dre just another washed up legendary producer now.

Snoop releases an album every year and every year it's a weedplate.

And them singles have been terrible. Why would you expect this shyt to have any buzz? :heh:
